Designed for knowledgeable carpenters, participants will learn the most important aspects of concrete formwork including identifying materials, form hardware, and formwork safety practices. Through theory and practical applications, students will gain experience in fabricating various formwork applications including:
- Safety certified Fall Protection
- Form hardware
- Concrete interior and exterior stair and wall forms, pilaster and column forms
- Foundation footing forms
- Gang forms
- Concrete columns with drop panel
- Flatwork combing suspended slab with concrete beams

Grade 12 or equivalent or call to schedule a Scholastic Level Examination.
1,000 hours of construction experience (documentation required) or completion of an approved carpentry program.
